![]() ![]() The museum of pork, also known as Museo del Maiale, is a new, unique museum (the only one like it in Italy). Here are some of the reasons for its creation and the frenzy around it:
Carpineto is very famous for its artisan production of Ventricina (a local salame made with the best cuts of pork) and porchetta (a whole slow-roasted pig, stuffed with pine nuts, almonds, rosemary and other herbs). Did you know?
