Its most noticeable feature is the castle at the top of the hill. Lately, the new museum of Pork has opened, attracting visitors from all over the world. Something not to miss. HISTORICAL INFORMATION: Many archaeological findings prove that this little village belonged to the Italic period. The first document found that mentioned the name Carpinetam was from the 12th century. During the feudal times, passed through many lordships, the most noteworthy being the Bassi family.
