This town is situated in the Liri Valley on the lower slopes of the Simbruini mountains.
Located near Cappadocia, the remains of the old castle can still be seen from the valley, as can the 18th and 19th century renovations to the town.

HISTORICAL FACTS
An agricultural center, in passed from being possessed by Marsican families such as the Orsini and Colonna.
Placed in a strategic position the town was under the dominion of the Orsini and the Colonna.
In the 19th century it was a quarter of the town of Cappadocia.

WHAT TO SEE
The church of S. Nicola merits particular attention as it has a decorated interior and Baroque furnishings.
A beautiful Renaissance portal can be seen in the church of SS. Salvatore in the quarter of Pagliara.

Sundays in August: Feast of Sant'Antonio and San Giovanni Battista
