Rivisondoli is one of the many great Abruzzo skiing resort. Very populated in the winter during skiing season and peaceful throughout the rest of the year. It is located a few kilometers from the Alto Sangro skiing district, with over 100 kms of downhill ski runs. 

HISTORICAL FACTS
Historic values and artistic heritage was created in the 1800s. The city center was totally destroyed by a fire in 1792. Rivisondoli developed much thanks to its strategic positioning. As a matter of fact it is located near the tratturo(sheep transhumance track) of Celano-Foggia and there was a lot of trading and military movements.

- Porta Antonietta
- Parish church of San Nicola di Bari, with a wooden altar built in the 16th century by Palmerio Grasso.
- Church of Sant’Anna, built in 1750
